Words of Support

“For more than two decades I have both observed and encouraged the progress of the osteopathic profession in the UK. It is ten years since the opening of the Statutory Register and, as a result of that, all osteopaths are now regulated in the same way as doctors and dentists, with their own Act of Parliament. I am especially proud to have played a small role in helping to secure the necessary steps towards ensuring that osteopathy became the first complementary medicine profession to achieve statutory regulation.

I know that in recent times the whole area of professional self-regulation in healthcare has been under intense scrutiny, but the osteopathic profession’s commitment to high standards of regulation, training and continuing professional development has stood it in good stead throughout this period. I remain utterly convinced that the profession will continue to develop and build on these standards of excellence in the years ahead.”

Testimonials

I have been a patient of Ms Elaine Dayaram, Osteopath, since spring 2011. I woke up one day with a tremendous pain in my chest. My doctor’s diagnosis following X-rays was a trapped nerve. I had been taking the pain killers for about 6 weeks, but with no result. The pain persisted. I then decided to try an alternative treatment, namely osteopathy. On the advice of my doctor I found this osteopathy specialist in Ms Elaine Dayaram. To my surprise it took Elaine only four treatment sessions to remove my chest pain altogether.

I can give Elaine and her experience my best recommendation.

S. Medanos

I have no hesitation in recommending Elaine – as an osteopath she is in a class of her own.

I have been a patient of hers for several years and her treatments and recommended exercises have helped resolve back problems that had made it difficult for me to walk

J. Pask

I have been coming to Elaine at Osteolife Body Solutions for years now. Initially for neck issues, Elaine has kept me upright through multiple injuries, and general aches and pains since. Working with my hypermobility, fybromyalgia, knee issues and reoccuring tension migraines, Elaines holistic approach ensures that whilst my problem areas are addessed, the rest of my body is reviewed and treated to ensure lasting balance. Recommending any exercises, stretches or possible changes I can bring into my day to day to help prolong this balance post appointment.

I now see Elaine once a month to help maintain and also address anything that might flare up, each time I leave feeling looser, relaxed and more comfortable in a body that doesn’t always want to play ball.

I would recommend Elaine to anyone, and have, she is friendly, approachable and professional. Offering a service that really makes a difference; She knows her stuff!

L. Wooding

I have known Elaine for many years and received treatment for various issues. I have always found her knowledge and general approach to her patients to be friendly and she explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. Her advice has always been spot on and easy to follow so I would have no hesitation in recommending her services to others who would equally benefit

M. Friere

Thank you so very much for all your advice, help and continued treatments. I have so much faith and trust in your abilities. Some people put so much effort into their work, that makes them a credit to their profession. You are one of those people. Be proud and keep up the good work.
H. Awdazi

I have been visiting Elaine for over a decade to address various issues that have arisen with my body, as a result of accident, injury or just aging. She has always been able to identify the issue and address it, providing treatment as well as homework for a speedy return to optimum health. She was specifically instrumental in my road to recovery after requiring surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. She has magic hands!

If you regularly service your car to get the best out of it and get it through its MOT, you will know the importance of regular maintenance. I cannot envisage a time where I will not visit with Elaine for a general treatment, just to ensure that my body is moving and functioning as well as it can, and for her insights in to my optimal physical wellness. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I have often felt that people in this country do not, as a rule, express due appreciation for the efforts of others, from doctors to bus drivers. I think that, as ‘customers’, we ought to recognise when someone has done a job well, and let him/her know that we recognise it. In this context I offer the following.

A 74-year-old, I fell some months ago, and hurt my back.  I found walking and sleeping difficult, often painful. At the time hospital staff were striking, and the public were asked to avoid A & E departments.  A friend recommended that I should seek an appointment at the Longfield Polyclinic, and I was able to get one with Elaine Dayaram, an osteopath.

Whilst I have had no previous experience of an osteopath’s work, so have no comparative example, I found that Elaine’s consultation about how the problem started and currently presented, her examination of my injuries, her manipulation of the muscles of my back, and the set of physical exercises which she asked me to perform each day improved my condition very quickly.

If I were to be unfortunate enough to suffer another injury requiring the attention of an osteopath, I would not hesitate to contact Elaine.  I would likewise recommend her to anyone in the area in similar circumstances.
